Does Insyde track employees' location in the background?

No. Insyde only checks GPS the moment someone taps to check in — there's no persistent background tracking or continuous location logging.

Do I need to use Basecamp to use Insyde?

No. Basecamp sync is an optional bonus for teams that already run on Basecamp — everything else works exactly the same without it.

What happens if someone forgets to check out?

Insyde automatically closes out sessions that get left open, so nobody's clock is silently running all night and nobody has to remember to do it themselves.

Can I use any AI model for the policy assistant?

Yes — Insyde is bring-your-own-key. Connect any OpenRouter or OpenAI-compatible API key, including free-tier models.

How much does Insyde cost?

₹999 per workspace per month, for up to 10 team members — no per-seat pricing.

What's included in the ₹999/month, and what costs extra?

The flat fee covers 120 minutes of on-call support a month, all core platform updates and security patches, and keeping any custom feature you've paid for working through future updates. Billed separately: net-new feature requests, one-off customizations built just for your workspace, and support time beyond the monthly 120 minutes (at a premium hourly rate). Routine maintenance is never a surprise line item.

Is Insyde something we self-serve, or do you manage it for us?

We manage it. Insyde isn't a tool you're handed and left to configure — our team sets up your deployment, keeps it updated, and is who you call when you need help. It's closer to a managed service than a typical self-serve SaaS subscription.

Is my company's data shared with other companies on Insyde?

No. Every team gets its own standalone deployment — your data never shares a database or server with anyone else.

Do employees need to download an app from an app store?

No. Insyde installs as a PWA — employees add it to their home screen straight from the browser, no app store required.
